1 Lemon's juice

There are not many desserts served at Passover but a fruit compote, esp w/very fine Turkish dried fruit, is especially popular. 1. Rinse fruits and drain. Cover w/water in bowl and soak for 4-6 hrs. 2. Put fruits, soaking liquid, and sugar in pan, bring to a boil, and cook, covered, over low heat for abt 35 mins. Remove pan from heat, add lemon juice, and let stand 2 hrs to absorb liquid. Refrigerate. Serve cold.
